The client: Amazon Prime Video
The ask: Amazon Prime Video wanted to boost their viewership numbers. We said sure thing. But in digging, we uncovered an interesting insight: of their 150 million+ Amazon members, ~70% didn’t realize their subscription gave them access to all the award-winning content APV had to offer. So for their holiday campaign, we set out with a clear message: Prime Video is The Gift You’ve Already Got.



Holiday Annoyances Turned Prime Pleasures
The holidays are a time of joy, sure. But there are also many annoyances – delayed flights, uncles you don’t see eye-to-eye with, gifts you don’t really want.
So we set out to cut through the holiday clutter by creating over 100 hyper-contextualized messages that turned holiday annoyances into positive Prime Video Gifts. Then we brought them to life through 80,000+ placements across 14 states.







The Results?
They spoke for themselves.
Prime Video became the 2nd biggest streaming service in the US for the first time ever. First time users of APV nearly doubled. And the amount of content watched was 2x year over year. Don’t believe me?
