The ask: Show diehard WWE super fans and gamers around the globe who were epically disappointed by WWE 2K20 that their concerns were heard and the title was back with a vengeance – ready to feed their nostalgia with a game redesigned from the ground up. Our message? Simple. It Hits Different.

The spots

To make a game that truly hits different, you need top-tier game developers and expert insight into the WWE Universe. So how did we show fans that’s exactly what we had? We created a madhouse world in which 2K developers and WWE Superstars decided to come together and collaborate on the ‘22 title. Safe to say, it went exactly as you’d expect it would.

Social

To keep spreading the good word we needed to show social some love, too. So we captured a series of teasers highlighting different aspects of the game. Here’s a my personal favorite, starring the Executive Producer of our soundtrack, MGK.
